Exciting Projects

Our new classroom building and gym will include a full-size basketball court, state-of-the-art classrooms, performing arts stage and serve as a FEMA-rated community tornado shelter. Spring 2025 will bring a percussion band and elementary music club, plus soccer and basketball facilities.

Noteworthy Programs

We prioritize student feedback and leadership, dedicating weekly time for all students to safely share ideas and concerns. Each student also has a daily intervention period for organizing assignments, practicing skills and setting academic and social-emotional growth goals.

Extracurricular Programs

All K-8 students can participate in enriching after-school activities including basketball, soccer, track, spirit squad and volleyball. Electives like visual art, music, PE and computer science provide a well-rounded STEAM experience. With clubs like band, student council, cooking, art, coding, video games and book club, there’s something for everyone.

Special Services

At AMS, we provide every student with opportunities to learn and grow, offering affordable before- and after-care and free/reduced meals for qualifying families. AMS offers individualized support through our Exceptional Student Services Department (special education and section 504) for academic, social and behavioral development to meet diverse student needs.

Honors & Awards

AMS has a strong record of excellence in Arizona, earning A and B ratings in 2023. AMS Little Rock proudly brings high-quality education to southwest Little Rock, serving Arkansas families.
