School History

Founded in 1977, Little Rock Christian is the largest private school in Arkansas and offers an independent, college-preparatory Christian education that seeks excellence in the pursuit of truth from a Christ-centered worldview.

Noteworthy Programs

The Harkness teaching method invigorates traditional classroom methods developing collaborative student approaches, communication and problem-solving. Other distinctives include J-Term, organic farming, entrepreneurship/engineering, 17 AP courses and seven concurrent college courses.

LRCA endeavors to maintain a balanced focus between academies, the arts and athletics, while striving for excellence and experiencing success in all areas over the years.

Exciting Projects

The ELEVATE Campaign initiative will enhance the campus for 5-8th graders. Features include innovative classrooms, dedicated STEM/science labs, arts/discipleship spaces, flexible community areas, security/infrastructure improvements, expansive dining spaces and more.

Special Services

LRCA offers After-School Fine Arts Academy classes for pre-K3-12th graders along with an after-school program for students pre-K3-8th. Individualized academic/college counseling serves 9-12th graders.

Extracurricular Activities

LRCA has 14 sport offerings from 3rd-12th grade and has won 44 state championships. There are 50+ clubs and organizations campuswide and four divisions in the award-winning fine arts department.

Various technologies are used to increase engagement in classrooms, including IXL for personalized learning plans.
