Missions Statement and Vision
Pulaski County Special School District spans more than 600 square miles in central Arkansas and requires highly skilled and passionate personnel to adapt education policies to 25 schools. Every school is accredited by the Arkansas State Board of Education. PCSSD has served schools across Pulaski County since 1927.
PCSSD is committed to creating a nationally recognized school district that assures that all students achieve at their maximum potential through collaborate, supportive and continuous efforts of all stakeholders.
Technology
PCSSD offers blended learning opportunities to students as either a primary method of instruction or to supplement traditional instruction.
Special Services
Located behind Mills Middle School, PCSSD offers a school-based health center that provides a convenient choice for families seeking medical and behavioral health care services for children during school hours. Every student and staff member has access to high-quality and compassionate medical care through the clinic.
