Mission Statement

Episcopal Collegiate School prepares students to live principled and fulfilling lives of leadership and service through the pursuit of academic and personal excellence in a challenging and supportive environment.

Learning Environment & Curriculum

Through the pursuit of excellence in academics, fine arts and athletics, our students become writers, critical thinkers, problem-solvers and leaders who perform well on national tests (avg. ACT=29) and are accepted to and prepared for competitive colleges (100% college acceptance rate).

Exciting Projects

We are currently building on our academic leadership, expanding our externships program, enhancing our service learning opportunities and strengthening our leadership development efforts.

Aftercare & Tutoring

After-school care is available for students until 6 p.m. and during the summer through our Summer at the E program.  Students at all levels receive extra help from teachers routinely and additional support through our Academic Achievement Center.

Scholarships & Financing

For the 2018-2019 school year, Episcopal provided more than $1.4 million in need-based financial aid to qualifying families. To explore what you might be eligible to receive, please use the tuition estimator on our website.

In addition, a design curriculum is offered to students in all grades, which applies the principles of coding, engineering, science, design and math to solve problems. A learning management system, Haiku, is integrated into all courses, grades four through 12, preparing students for the technological environments they will see in college.

Teaching Methods

We believe students become the best versions of themselves through positive and supportive relationships with teachers and peers and through their invested engagement in a challenging, yet accessible curriculum enriched by experiences outside the classroom.
